We have been involved with working breed dogs for over 30 years but have been the proud owners of Dogue de Bordeuxs for almost 9 years now. I was the DDB Breed note Writer for Dog World for over 12 months. I enjoyed doing the notes but had to retire due to other commitments.
All our dogs are first and foremost family pets.
Showing is our hobby and we attend a few Champ shows each year. Win or loose we always have a great day. A good Opportunity to catch up with old friends and fellow exhibitors. Winning is of course a bonus for us but not the most important aspect of owning this wonderful breed. The welfare, happiness and wellbeing of our loyal companions will always be our priority.The health of our dogs is also extremely important to us, therefore they are all vet checked on a regular basis and are all Hip Scored under the K.C/BVA scheme and are wormed and frontlined twice a year. They are walked individualy each day and given the opportunity to run,play and socialise. Keeping dogs in kennels is not for us, our dogs live in the home as part of the family and are cherished as such.
